Michael Murray is a true bodyguard. Whether it's bouncing, guarding Hollywood's stars, working at huge events like Super Bowl parties or Kentucky Derby, this guy has been there to protect people. Murray says, "I like the feeling of a good guy or wearing the white hat in the western." Murray has been just that for some very important people, including one of the biggest political powers of our time, President Gorbachev of Russia. It takes a lot more than just a tough guy to protect a person that important. Let's find out just what kind of person is up for the job.

Born in Louisville, Kentucky, Mike Murray came to California for  the lifestyle and good weather. Mike enjoys fitness, Martial Arts and wrestling. He also studied nutrition at Morehead State in Kentucky and there wrestled and went on to the Judo team.  Mike won the silver medal at the Collegiate Midwest Champion-ships of the United States. Mike was competing in the open division (all belts), as a white belt, so winning the silver medal against the black belts was a very proud moment for him. I know my wrestling definitely helped me excel in Judo very quickly.

Mike has trained with Bob Anderson in wrestling, which is not only a dear friend, but Mike says he is the best coach I've ever worked with. He's an amazing coach and wrestler, who at 60 won A World Championship. Bob besides Olympic wrestlers has coached some of the best UFC and Pride fighters in the world.
